A well-established and highly respected engineering technology business is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join its growing UK team.
This role is primarily focused on supporting customers on-site with the installation, maintenance and repair of CNC machinery. You will carry out hands-on fault-finding and diagnostics across mechanical, electrical, and PLC-controlled systems, resolving complex breakdowns and ensuring equipment operates at optimal performance.
The Role
*Installation and commissioning of CNC machinery
*Mechanical and electrical fault finding, diagnostics and breakdown repair
*Planned preventative maintenance and servicing
*PLC diagnostics and system troubleshooting
*On-site customer training and operational guidance
*Producing clear, professional service reports
*Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
What We’re Looking For
*Proven experience working on CNC machinery
*Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding capability
*Field service engineering background
*Ability to work independently and travel alone
*Strong problem-solving mindset
*Full UK driving licence

*Basic salary £44,000 + Door to Door & Overtime (Typical earnings £55,000)
