I’m currently recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading civil engineering contractor delivering a major infrastructure project in the Bridgwater area. The Role

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will take commercial lead responsibility for a significant package of works. Your duties will include:
*Full commercial management from procurement through to final accounts
*Cost forecasting, reporting and budget management
*Managing subcontractor packages, valuations and payments
*Identifying and managing commercial and contractual risks
*Working closely with operational and project teams to ensure smooth delivery
*Supporting and mentoring junior commercial staff

What You’ll Need
*Experience as a Quantity Surveyor / Senior QS on civil engineering, infrastructure, utilities, or large construction projects
*Strong commercial and contractual understanding (NEC experience advantageous)
*Ability to manage multiple packages and deadlines confidently
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
*Chartered or working toward chartership (RICS / ICES / CIOB) desirable
