About the SchoolWe are working with a warm, inclusive, and well-resourced SEN through school in Lewisham that supports students with a range of additional needs from primary years through to Post-16 pathways. The RoleThe school is seeking a qualified (QTS) or highly experienced SEN Teacher to join their Secondary and Post-16 team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about personalised learning, creative teaching approaches, and preparing young people with SEN for adulthood.
You will:
*Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for small groups
*Support learners with diverse needs including ASD, MLD, SEMH, and complex needs
*Work closely with therapists, support staff, and parents/carers
*Create a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment
*Contribute to EHCP targets and individual learning plans
*Be part of a collaborative, caring staff team
What We’re Looking For*QTS is preferred but highly experienced unqualified SEN teachers will be considered
*Strong experience teaching Secondary or Post-16 learners
*A calm, resilient, and student-centred approach
*Excellent communication and teamwork skills
*Passion for helping young people with SEN thrive
*Ability to commit long-term, with routes to permanent employment
