Role: Accounts Payable Assistant

The Accountancy & Finance Division at The ONE Group is currently recruiting for a temp-to-perm Accounts Payable Assistant position. Our established and reputable client is seeking an organised, detail-oriented individual to join their busy finance team. You will play a key role in ensuring supplier invoices are processed accurately and on time, maintaining strong internal and external relationships, and supporting smooth day to day finance operations.
Key Responsibilities
*Process supplier invoices in line with purchase orders, approvals and SLAs
*Manage supplier accounts including reconciliations, debit balances and unallocated payments
*Resolve invoice queries and respond to supplier and employee enquiries
*Prepare weekly payment runs with supporting documentation
*Reconcile supplier statements including GRNI
*Manage employee expenses and credit card claims, ensuring compliance and VAT recovery
*Maintain the AP inbox and support wider finance tasks as required
Skills & Experience Required
*Previous experience in accounts payable or purchase ledger
*Understanding of purchase ledger processes
*Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
*Confident communication skills
*Good Excel skills and experience using an ERP system
*Ability to work to deadlines in a fast paced environment
