Job Description:
Gas Supervisor
35 hours per week
Manchester

£31.50 Umbrella OR £23.80 PAYE + holiday
Hamilton Woods Associates are working with a Social Housing provider that is looking for a Gas Supervisor to oversee gas compliance for servicing and breakdowns, and ensure all works are delivered safely and in line with current legislation.
A van and fuel card is provided.
Responsibilities of the Gas Supervisor:
*Supported a team of 12 gas engineers (servicing and breakdown)
*Acting as the nominated Qualified Supervisor for the organisation’s Gas Safe registration
*Ensuring all gas works are carried out in accordance with the Gas Safety Regulations
*Approving certificates
*Carrying out technical audits and post-inspections of engineers’ work
*Investigating technical failures, incidents and non-compliance issue
*Providing technical guidance and support to gas engineers
*Ensuring engineers are working within their scope of competence and hold up to-date ACS qualification
*Maintaining accurate compliance records and documentation
*Supporting the development and review of gas safety policies and procedures
*Working closely with Compliance and Property Services teams to ensure statutory targets are met
*Reporting on gas compliance performance to senior management
Essential criteria of the Gas Supervisor:
*Current ACS gas qualifications (relevant domestic competencies)
*Previous experience working within social housing or a landlord compliance environment
*Strong knowledge of gas safety legislation and compliance requirements
*Experience carrying out technical audits and inspections
*Full UK driving licence
