My Local Authority client in Sussex is looking to appoint a talented Director for Local Government Reorganisation on a Contract basis.
This role will provide strategic direction and leadership for the Council’s LGR portfolio of programmes.
Local Authority experience is essential
About the role:
Based in Greater London (hybrid):
*Review contracts due for re-procurement and existing contracts for in-term savings.
*Translate political ambition into deliverable and measurable plans.
*Establish and maintain disciplined Portfolio Management Office arrangements.
*Establish strong portfolio structure and programme management arrangements
*Ensure all legal and constitutional elements required for LGR are prepared.
About you:
You will have the following experiences:
*Leadership of large-scale public sector transformation or reorganisation.
*Deep LGR experience
*Outstanding Programme Management skills.
*Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.
*Local Authority experience is essential.
What’s on offer:
*Salary: £1400+ per day, inside IR35
*negotiable based on experience
