Location: Braintree
Hours: Monday – Friday, 7:15 AM – 15:45PM
Pay rate: £17.53
Industry: Manufacturing
We are seeking an experienced Steel Fabricator/Welder to join one of our clients based in Braintree. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a well-established manufacturing company that values quality and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
*Perform MIG or MAG welding to a high standard.
*To have an understanding of relevant welding requirements and standards as far as the fabrication of the material is concerned
*Analyse and work to shop drawings
*Marking out and setting out of materials
*Adjustment and modification of components where necessary.
*To produce accurate and neat work
*Operate press drills, iron workers/punches and guillotine
*To use initiative to progress the work and solve problems
*Other duties appropriate to the level of this role.
Requirements:
*Proven experience in MIG or MAG welding.
*Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
*Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
*Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
