Description
The Accounts Payable Assistant role is initially a temporary assignment and will be full time office based in Wilmslow. Reporting into the Financial Controller Key responsibilities will include:
*Process supplier invoices and ensure accurate coding to relevant accounts.
*Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
*Prepare and process payment runs in a timely manner.
*Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies.
*Assist in month-end closing activities by providing necessary documentation and reports.
*Respond to supplier queries and maintain positive relationships.
*Work closely with the wider accounting and finance team to support projects as needed.
*Provide administrative support for the accounts payable function when required.
Profile
In order to apply for the role you should:
*Have previous experience in Accounts Payable
*Be able to consider a temporary role initially
*Be able to commute full time to Wilmslow office
