Job Description:
An opportunity has arisen to join the Service team within a successful truck dealership.
Harris DAF is part of the Harris Group and operates the DAF Franchise, located at West Thurrock, Essex.
Ideal Candidate:
We would like to employ an experienced Service Administrator to join our exciting and skilled Dealership Service team.
Working with a very desirable and market leading brand, this is an excellent opportunity for any individual who is aspiring for an exciting career, with first class training within a leading local business, which is still privately owned.
Responsibilities:
To work alongside four other Receptionists, withina Service administration team of 14, reporting to the Service Manager.
The core duties will include the following, but will evolve and widen as the individual develops in line with our business aspirations and requirements:
*Ongoing liaison with customers.
*Booking in vehicles for service.
*Maintaining service records.
*A General Service Administration.
*Dealing with National and International breakdown services.
*Liaison with Daf Trucks
Key Skills and requirements:
Experience using an in-house dealer management system would be useful.
Possession of a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, whilst working to strict deadlines.
Ability to communicate confidently with internal and external customers, in person and via the telephone.
Competent time management skills and the ability to multitask in a busy environment
Well-presented and able to promote the company and brand values.
Strictly No Agencies
Salary, Working Hours, Benefits and Holidays:
Salary dependant on qualifications and experience.
Holiday 20 days pro-rata per annum, increasing on length of service.
45 hour working week
Mon-Fri -Including 5 hours every other Saturday
