Job Description:
Charity Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Customer Service and Supporter Assistant, to join an international charity based in Camberwell, London. This is a temporary role, offering a fantastic opportunity to work within a well-established organisation dedicated to making a difference. This role is office-based, and candidates must be available to start immediately
As a Customer Service and Supporter Assistant, you will process supporter data, donations, requests and queries, ensuring accuracy at every stage. The Customer Service and Supporter Assistant acts as the first point of contact for supporters and members of the public across phone, email, post and social media, responding promptly, professionally and helpfully. In this role, the Customer Service and Supporter Assistant will provide personalised supporter care, thanks supporters appropriately and handles complaints within agreed timeframes.
The Customer Service and Supporter Assistant put supporters first and will champion the importance of supporters throughout the organisation and work closely with Team Leaders, fundraising teams and Managers to resolve complex donations and queries.
Experience:
Customer care experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage sensitive conversations with clarity and reassurance, while working under pressure.
Maintaining excellent attention to detail, using IT systems effectively.
