Description
*Manage the administration of legacies in line with legal requirements and organisational policies.
*Review and process legal documents related to legacies, including wills and probate documentation.
*Maintain accurate records of all legacy cases and update relevant databases.
*Provide clear and timely communication with executors, solicitors, and beneficiaries.
*Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal procedures.
*Prepare reports on legacy income and case progress for internal stakeholders.
*Assist with resolving any disputes or issues related to legacy cases.
*Support the team with additional administrative tasks as required.
Profile
A successful Legacy Officer should have:
*Knowledge of legacy administration and relevant legal processes.
*Previous working knowledge of working within a charity in a similar role.
*Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
*Proficiency in handling sensitive and confidential information.
*Effective communication skills for liaising with multiple stakeholders.
*Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Job Offer
*Hourly rate £18.92 +holiday - PAYE.
*Temporary contract with the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the Charity sector.
*Fully remote - 3 days a week (flexible on days)
