A well-established manufacturing organisation is seeking a driven and experienced Cost Accountant to support its finance function on a 6-12 month contract. Your new role
As the Cost Accountant, you will take ownership of delivering timely, accurate product costing and manufacturing finance insights. Your responsibilities will include:
*Product Costing & Analysis
*Inventory Accounting
*Manufacturing Overhead Management
*SAP Ownership
*Process Improvement & Reporting
What you’ll need to succeed
*A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
*3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing cost accounting role
*Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and cost accounting principles
*Proven SAP experience within a manufacturing environment
*Advanced Excel capability, including formulas, pivot tables and data analysis
*Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
*Experience with other ERP systems, lean manufacturing, or BI/data warehousing tools is beneficial
