What You’ll Own
As our Senior Process Technologist, you will:
*Drive product concepts through process design, scale-up and manufacturing readiness
*Lead factory trials end-to-end — scheduling, cross-functional coordination, execution and reporting
*Define and validate processing parameters, packaging settings and all variables required for successful scale-up
*Evaluate and validate new equipment to ensure it delivers the expected product quality and throughput
*Ensure all new formulations, ingredients and BOMs are correctly set up for the line
*Prepare trial documentation, summarise learnings and make recommendations for next steps
*Develop or update SOPs and train operators before handover to the production team
*Support launch readiness — including yield analysis, validation records and QAS approvals
*Supervise first production runs and provide troubleshooting and optimisation support
*Coordinate product launch timelines with Planning, Ops and Product teams
*Conduct post-launch reviews to drive continuous improvement
What You Bring
*Strong experience leading factory-scale trials in a product development setting
*Proven track record scaling products from pilot to full production
*Data-driven mindset with the ability to interpret results and clearly justify decisions
*Confident communicator and proactive problem-solver
*Able to work independently within defined project scopes, escalating risks where needed
*Experience producing high-quality documentation suitable for stage-gate approval
Qualifications
*Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or Process Engineering
*HACCP & Food Safety certification
*5+ years in FMCG or a related manufacturing industry
