Are you an experienced Accounts Payable professional with a background in freight forwarding? Ready to join a thriving business where your expertise will truly make an impact?
Our client, a well-established and rapidly growing organisation based in Colnbrook, is expanding their finance team and is looking for a proactive Accounts Payable Assistant to support their continued success. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic environment with clear progression opportunities as the company grows.
What You’ll Be Doing*Preparing and processing regular payment runs with accuracy and efficiency
*Working closely with stations and suppliers to resolve invoice queries and discrepancies
*Reconciling supplier statements and ensuring accounts are always up to date
*Processing high volumes of supplier invoices with strong attention to detail
*Monitoring and managing supplier credit terms
*Recording and allocating incoming payments
*Supporting the wider finance team with ad-hoc duties as required
What We’re Looking For*Essential: Proven Accounts Payable experience within the freight forwarding industry, Cargowise
*Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
*Confident communicator with a problem-solving mindset
*Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Please note: Candidates without freight forwarding Accounts Payable experience will not be considered.
