Head of Credit
City of London
Hybrid (3/2 split)

Up to £130,000
cer Financial are working alongside an international, warm and exciting bank, who are based in the City of London. They are seeking a Head of Credit to work with them on a permanent basis.
The responsibilities of the Head of Credit will include:
*Prepare credit risk analysis reports for new, renewed, and complex credit facilities (individuals, corporates, banks, and financial institutions), including financial spreading and credit recommendations.
*Portfolio consists of Real Estate, Project Finance, FI’s and general Corporates
*Conduct quarterly IFRS 9 Expected Credit Loss analysis and climate risk assessments in line with bank policies.
*Perform political, economic, and industry risk analysis; monitor assigned countries and sectors.
*Review MIS reports to ensure effective exception controls.
*Liaise with banks, credit agencies, and clients to obtain credit information and maintain updated borrower files.
*Support client visits with Account Officers to assess operations and financial performance.
*Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, internal risk policies, and quality standards; report breaches and control gaps promptly.
*Complete mandatory training and uphold FCA/PRA Code of Conduct standards.
*Assist with special projects and fulfil crisis management/business continuity responsibilities as required.
The successful candidate will have:
*Bachelor’s Degree (BA, BBus or BSc) or related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
