The ideal candidate will have the following:
*ACA or ACCA qualified (willing to take of Part Qualified if the right fit)
*Experience working in an accounting practice
*Proficiency in financial management, accounting, and bookkeeping practices, including preparing financial statements and reconciling accounts
*Knowledge of tax preparation, tax compliance, and understanding of UK tax regulations
*Skills in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
*Familiarity with accounting software and tools such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms
*Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
*Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
*Effective communication and client relationship management skills
*As we are based in the suburbs of Leeds, a driving licence and car would be beneficial.
The role will include, but not limited to;
*Preparation of self-assessment tax returns
*Preparation of annual and corporation accounts
*Preparation of VAT returns
*Handle HMRC queries and correspondence
*General admin tasks as and when required
*Management of client financial records and bookkeeping
*Provide exceptional customer service to clients via phone and email
*Commit to personal professional development and share knowledge with peers
