Job Description:
Early Years Practitioner at Southmead hospital’s Saplings Day Nursery. Immediate start / ASAP available for the right candidate.
?? Location: North Bristol Trust - Southmead hospital
?? Contract: Monday to Friday
?? Hours: 45 Hours with flexible full and half day shifts (Full days 8:00 am-6:00 pm / 9:00 am-6:00 pm; Half days 8:00 am-2:00 pm / 12:00 pm-6:00 pm)
This role offers the opportunity to work within a nursery in a hospital setting, supporting the development and care of young children. You will be part of a dedicated team providing a nurturing environment at Saplings Day Nursery.
As an Early Years Practitioner, you will contribute to the wellbeing and growth of children, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment that supports their early learning and development.
*Support children’s learning and development in line with nursery policies
*Work collaboratively with colleagues in a hospital-based nursery setting
*Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for children and families
*Engage with children through play and educational activities
*Communicate effectively with parents and healthcare staff as appropriate
