About the Role
We’re currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a reliable and hardworking Refuse Loader to join their friendly waste collection team. This is a hands on role where you’ll be part of a team out in the community, collecting household and commercial waste and loading them onto collection vehicles, helping to keep local streets clean, safe, and tidy.
Key Responsibilities
*Collect household and commercial waste from designated routes
*Load refuse and recycling materials onto collection vehicles
*Assist the driver with daily route completion
*Ensure bins are returned safely and neatly after emptying
*Follow all health and safety procedures
*Provide polite and professional service to residents and businesses
Requirements
*Good level of physical fitness (role involves lifting and working outdoors in all weather conditions)
*Reliable, punctual, and able to work early mornings
*Strong team player
*Awareness of health and safety practices
*Previous experience in waste collection or manual outdoor work (desirable but not essential)
