EHC Plan Writer - Nottingham City - £200 per day UmbrellaLocation: Nottingham City (Remote)
Contract: Agency Interim
Rate: £200 per day (Umbrella)
Service: SEND / EHC Planning
Nottingham City Council is looking for an experienced EHC Plan Writer to join the SEND team on a fully remote interim basis. This role focuses purely on writing, amending, and reviewing Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), with no casework or direct client contact required.
Key Responsibilities*Draft high-quality, person-centred EHCPs in line with statutory guidance
*Make amendments and updates to existing EHCPs following reviews
*Conduct and record annual reviews efficiently and accurately
*Ensure all plans are legally compliant and evidence-based
*Use systems such as Idox to manage and track EHCP documentation (preferred)
*Maintain accurate records and meet internal deadlines
Essential Requirements*Proven experience writing and reviewing EHCPs
*Experience with amendments and annual reviews
*Knowledge of SEND Code of Practice and statutory guidance
*Familiarity with Idox or similar EHC management systems preferred
*Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
*Ability to work independently in a remote environment
