Job Description:
Lecturer - Painting & Decorating
Salary: Up to £41,937 per annum, depending on experience
Hours: 35 per week
Working Weeks: 52 per year
Contract Type: Permanent
Closing Date: Midnight, Sunday 1 March 2026

A new and exciting opportunity has become available for a Painting & Decorating Lecturer to join our student-focused team. We would particularly like candidates with experience of delivering on apprenticeships. Applications on a part-time basis will also be considered.
What You Will Be Doing:
*For candidates with relevant experience, have specific responsibility for driving apprenticeships and employer engagement
*Teach on other Painting & Decorating programmes as required (Entry level to Level 3)
*Be up to date, plan and prepare high-quality teaching as required by your Line Manager
*Develop and share resources for the subject including maintaining effective links across College for resources
*Regularly assess students in order to track and monitor progress
What We Are Looking For:
*4 GCSEs or equivalent including Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above
*Minimum level 3 qualification in a related subject
*Recognised teaching and assessor qualification or a willingness to achieve this within three years of appointment
*A higher degree or advanced qualification
*Assessor and Verifier Qualifications
