This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll support and inspire teams delivering high-quality, person-centred supported living services for learning disabled adults. As a Deputy Service Manager, you will work closely with the Service Manager, you’ll help create environments where people have genuine choice, independence and opportunities to thrive.
What you’ll be doing as a Deputy Service Manager
*Leading and motivating teams to deliver safe, inclusive, person-centred support
*Spending time on shift role-modelling best practice and mentoring staff
*Supporting quality, compliance and positive outcomes across services
*Developing your team through coaching, feedback and encouragement
*Building strong relationships with families, professionals and partners
*Supporting service continuity, including on-call duties when required
What we’re looking for
*Experience managing supported living services for learning disabled adults
*Level 4 Lead Practitioner Diploma in Adult Care, or Level 3 with willingness to progress
*Confident, values-led leadership style
*Strong communication and relationship-building skills
*A proactive, solution-focused mindset
