Role overviewAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Adult Social Worker to join the Specialist Community Team at Warrington Borough Council. This full-time locum role offers hybrid working, combining flexibility with meaningful onsite collaboration.
You will play a vital role within adult community services, focusing on preparation for adulthood and mental health pathways, while delivering high-quality interventions in line with the Care Act 2014.

*Manage safeguarding responsibilities in line with statutory duties.
*Contribute to duty services, ensuring timely responses to urgent matters.
*Maintain accurate, timely, and high-quality case records.
*Effectively manage competing priorities while working under pressure.
Requirements*Minimum of three years’ post-qualified experience, particularly within adult community teams.
*Strong ability to work in high-pressure environments and manage multiple priorities.
*Relevant social work qualification and registration (Social Work England).
*Employment history and references will be thoroughly checked.
*Understanding of IR35 regulations (role falls inside IR35).
