Salary: £26,500 – £28,500 per annum

Our client, a world-renowned multinational organisation and Global 500 leader in logistics and global trade, is seeking a motivated and detail-focused Customs Process Administrator to join their team in Felixstowe. You’ll work daily with colleagues from around the world, deepen your understanding of customs and logistics, and receive full training and qualifications to support your development in this specialist field.
Key Responsibilities
• Documentation & Registration – Prepare and submit documentation for import, export, and transshipment cargoes.

• Data Accuracy – Ensure all system data is entered correctly, on time, and to a high standard.

• Communication – Maintain clear communication with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.

• Logistics Coordination – Arrange transport bookings, container stuffing/stripping, inspections, and related activities.

• Compliance – Keep up to date with local procedures, legislation, and regulations relevant to customs operations.

• Operational Support – Take part in daily operational processes, meetings, and ensure documentation meets safety and compliance standards.

• Continual Learning – Attend refresher courses and training to maintain up-to-date customs knowledge.
What We’re Looking For
• Interest in Logistics – Enthusiasm for the logistics sector and a desire to learn customs processes.

• Experience Advantageous – Knowledge of customs legislation or value-added logistics services is beneficial, though not essential.

• Proactive Approach – Strong organisational skills and a commitment to delivering efficient, high-quality work.

• Customer-Focused Mindset – Dedicated to meeting client expectations and improving service delivery.

• Technical Skills – Competent with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and quick to learn new systems.

• Team Player – A collaborative personality with the ability to build strong working relationships.
