Job Description:
Supply Chain Planner
*Location: To be determined
*Job Type: Full-time
*Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
*Salary: Competitive
We are seeking a dedicated Supply Chain Planner to manage the end-to-end fulfilment process across an allocated supplier category. This role is crucial in maintaining accurate supplier data, documentation, and system inputs, ensuring smooth operational performance and high service levels.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Purchase Order & Fulfilment Management:
*Provide necessary information and documentation to support inbound purchase orders.
*Assist with import clearance processes and manage manufacturing order tolerances.
*Support payment activities in line with supplier payment terms.
*Raise purchase orders efficiently, using data provided by internal systems.
*Obtain and review purchase order acknowledgements from supply partners; highlight, challenge, and escalate any discrepancies.
*Forecasting & Inventory Data:
*Analyse supply chain data to support future demand forecasting and maintain accurate inventory projections.
*Keep internal systems updated with relevant, accurate information and communicate changes across the business.
*Supplier & Performance Management:
*Monitor and expedite purchase orders to maintain strong service levels.
*Record, investigate, and close supplier non-conformances within required timeframes.
*Capture and report data related to product and supplier commercial performance, including ensuring supplier rebates are fully claimed.
*Prepare data, reports, and insights for supplier reviews and commercial negotiations.
*Additional Duties:
*Complete any other tasks required to support the effective operation of the supply chain function.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Experience within supply chain, logistics, or warehouse distribution environments.
*Familiarity with ERP systems, data-driven platforms, and ideally warehouse management systems.
*Advanced proficiency in data analysis and forecasting, utilising ERP systems and databases.
*High-level Excel capability, with the ability to interpret, manipulate, and manage complex datasets.
*Strong attention to detail and accuracy when managing supply chain inputs.
*Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with suppliers, procurement teams, and internal stakeholders.
*Highly disciplined, process-oriented, and structured in approach.
*Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
*Interest in product and supplier performance, with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
