Job Description:
Operations & Personal Support Assistant
Remote | £27 per hour | Up to 44 hours per month | Starting 2nd March
I’m at the beginning stages of formalising and organising a mix of personal and business priorities, and I’m looking for someone structured and reliable to support that process.
This isn’t a large company or fast-scaling startup. It’s just me — building things carefully and intentionally — and I’d like the right person alongside me to help create order, momentum and consistent follow-through.
I don’t need a traditional "assistant."
I need someone who is naturally organised, proactive, and good at getting things done.
The Role
This position combines personal admin and early-stage business support. The focus is on helping create structure and ensuring things move forward steadily.
Responsibilities will include:
Turning ideas into clear, practical action steps
Organising goals and tracking progress
Conducting detailed research and presenting clear summaries
Managing admin and following up on outstanding items
Setting up simple systems (Notion / Trello / similar tools)
Diary and priority organisation
Identifying what needs attention and addressing it proactively
Some tasks will relate to business, some to personal admin — all centred around improving organisation, clarity and execution.
The Kind of Person I’m Looking For
You may suit this role if you are:
Highly organised and naturally structured
Calm, methodical and practical
Strong at detailed research and able to gather relevant, well-presented information
Comfortable working independently and using your own initiative
Able to prioritise what needs to be done — both for yourself and on my behalf
Good at breaking bigger ideas into manageable, logical steps
Comfortable with admin and detail
Someone who finishes what they start
Not easily overwhelmed by complexity
You won’t need constant instruction. I’m looking for someone who can assess situations, make sensible decisions, and keep things moving.
This role would suit someone who enjoys building structure from the ground up and taking ownership of their work.
Hours & Pay
£27 per hour
Up to 44 hours per month initially
Flexible scheduling
Scope to grow over time if it’s a good fit
Position available from 2nd March
To Apply
Please send:
A short note explaining why this role suits you
An example of something you’ve organised, systemised, or managed
Your availability
Confirmation you’re comfortable with £27/hr
Thoughtful, considered applications will be prioritised.
