Classroom Support Assistant (CSA)
An outstanding, child-centred school in the London Borough of Camden is seeking a full-time, energetic Classroom Support Assistant (CSA) to join their team on a long-term basis, starting ASAP.
As a Classroom Support Assistant (CSA), you will support children aged 4-11 (EYFS to KS2) using a therapeutic approach, respond to challenges in an empathetic, low-arousal way, and help students to feel better regulated.
Candidates must be comfortable supporting children with personal care as part of their daily responsibilities.
The ideal Classroom Support Assistant (CSA) will have experience working with young children, including those with SEN (Autism in particular). This role involves being active and, on your feet, supporting learning through play, participating in activities alongside the children, and meeting them where they are.

*Support children across EYFS to KS2 with their academic, social and emotional development
*Provide 1:1 and small group support, including for children with Autism
*Support children with personal care needs where required
*ASAP Start
*Full-time / Term Time Only
*£105 - £130 per day
*Located in Camden
PERSON SPECIFICATION
*Experience working with primary-aged children (EYFS-KS2)
*Experience supporting children with SEN, including social, emotional and behavioural needs
*Energetic and physically able to be on your feet throughout the school day
*Experience delivering 1:1 or small group interventions
*Knowledge of safeguarding procedures within a school setting
