Job Description
*Support the daily leadership and coordination of the procurement team
*Support team development through regular 1-2-1s and skills assessment
*Drive supplier performance, risk management and cost optimisation
*Lead supply chain involvement in new product introduction
*Ensure lowest cost of acquisition while maintaining quality and delivery standards
*Promote a continuous improvement culture using Lean principles


Senior Buyer
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

*Ideally 3–5 years’ procurement experience within manufacturing / aerospace
*Strong supplier management and negotiation background, with a track record of cost reduction and performance improvement.
*Experience in a regulated environment (AS9100, ISO9001, IATF16949 or similar)
*Our client is open to a Buyer who has led projects, mentored colleagues or taken informal leadership responsibility and is ready to step up
*A proactive, improvement-focused mindset
*CIPS Qualified
