Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home (EBD) Oldbury, West Midlands
From £55,000 per annum (Negotiable depending on experience)
Full-Time | Permanent | Monday–Friday
We are seeking an experienced and driven Registered Manager to lead an Ofsted-registered Children’s Residential Home in Oldbury (B69).
This is a permanent opportunity for a strong leader with proven EBD experience and a successful track record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted ratings.
Key Responsibilities:*Full operational management of the children’s residential home
*Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and Children’s Homes Regulations 2015
*Lead, supervise and develop the staff team
*Safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people
*Maintain high standards of care and risk management
*Manage care planning and placement stability
*Liaise with Local Authorities, professionals and families
*Maintain occupancy and ensure effective home performance
Essential Requirements:*Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Registered Manager in a Children’s Residential Home
*Experience supporting young people with EBD (Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties)
*Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
*Proven record of achieving Good or Outstanding Ofsted reports
*Strong knowledge of safeguarding and compliance
*Full UK Driving Licence
*Must live locally and be able to commute daily to B69
Salary:Base salary starting from £55,000 per annum.
Final package will be discussed during interview depending on experience and track record.
