FAMILY SOLICITOR
WORCESTER
£60K - £70K
A top regional law firm are recruiting for a Senior Family Solicitor to work as the Head of Department and lead a Family Law team. This role balances high-level fee earning with the strategic management of solicitors, trainees, and support staff.
Key Responsibilities:
*Leadership: Supervise a small team, managing performance, recruitment, and succession planning.
* Caseload: Oversee complex matters including Divorce, Financial Remedies, Children Act cases, and TOLATA.
* Operations: Ensure SRA compliance, manage Legal Aid (LAA) processes, and meet departmental billing targets.
* Growth: Drive business development and strategic departmental planning.
Requirements
* Qualifications: Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with a clean Practising Certificate.
* Experience: Substantial PQE in Family Law, including advocacy and supervising junior staff
* Technical: Strong IT skills (Office 365) and experience with legal case management systems.
* Soft Skills: Empathetic approach to vulnerable clients combined with a proactive, "forward-thinking" leadership style.
*Ideally around 10 years PQE with supervisory experience
