A large, high-profile mixed-use estate in a major UK city centre, combining offices, leisure, retail, bars and restaurants are seeking an Estates Director to join their expanding team in Birmingham offering a salary of up to £90,000 plus benefits. It attracts millions of visitors each year and is home to thousands of workers. The destination is well-known, commercially significant and plays an important role in the city’s cultural and business landscape.

This is the senior on-site leadership role responsible for all operational activity across the estate. You are the person who ensures the estate runs smoothly day to day, while also shaping its longer-term operational strategy.

As the Estates Director you will:
*Lead a large on-site team (70+ people) across cleaning, security and estate management.
*Be accountable for 24/7 operations across the full estate footprint.
*Ensure the environment is safe, compliant, well-run and consistently well-presented.
*Manage multi-million-pound FM and service charge budgets.
*Work closely with asset management, property management and senior leadership.
*Act as the senior point of contact for occupiers, local authorities and key partners.
*Drive service quality, efficiency, sustainability and innovation.

We are looking for an Estates Director with:
*An Estates or FM leader experienced in large, complex mixed-use or commercial environment.
*Confident in owning operations, budgets, people leadership and the estate’s reputation.
