Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and committed Registered Manager to lead a well-established 2-bed EBD children’s home in Leicester. The home currently supports two settled young people and has a Deputy Manager already in post, providing additional leadership support.
This is an excellent opportunity for a strong, child-centred leader who understands the regulatory expectations of managing an EBD provision and is confident in driving standards, stability and positive outcomes.
The Role:*Overall leadership and day-to-day management of the home
*Ensuring full compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations & Quality Standards
*Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people
*Leading, developing and supporting the staff team
*Maintaining strong relationships with local authorities and professionals
*Preparing for and managing Ofsted inspections
Requirements:*Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (completed or in progress)
*Experience managing or deputising within an EBD children’s home
*Strong knowledge of safeguarding and regulatory frameworks
*Proven ability to achieve positive Ofsted outcomes
*Clear leadership and team development skills
What’s On Offer:*£50,000 – £55,000 salary (DOE & Ofsted history)
