Job Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for an Electronic Bench Engineer - Components based in Northampton to join one of our clients on a full-time permanent basis.
Summary of the Electronic Bench Engineer - Components
Salary: Up to £40,000
Location: Northampton
Type of Contract: permanent
Hours: 37.5 hour working week
Responsibilities of the Electronic Bench Engineer - Components
*Quickly fix defects and malfunctions.
*Fault finding issues with electronic equipment
*Anyalyse, measure, repair and test industrial electronics
*Diagnose and repair electronic equipment at the component level (ideally resistors - diodes on PCB boards) as well as motors and servos
*Testing and optimising repaired equipment.
*Soldering.
*Create and maintain technical documentation of work.
Requirements for a successful Electronic Bench Engineer - Components
*Previous Electronic Repair experience at the component level.
*Strong working knowledge of electronic components and drives/motors.
*Able to recognise malfunctions and errors in measuring and testing equipment.
*Driving licence required.
*Lift experience would be beneficial.
*Excellent communication skills with experience creating technical documentation.
