Job Description:
We’re currently recruiting for a passionate and proactive Housing Officer to deliver a professional, high-quality mixed tenure service on a full-time, temporary basis for approximately 2 months.
In this role, you’ll be accountable for managing a diverse range of housing management challenges including Anti-Social Behaviour, housing and neighbourhood issues, contractual breaches and changes, fraud, and safeguarding. Our client is looking for someone who can play a key role in ensuring neighbourhoods are safe, well-managed, and responsive to customer needs.
Your duties will include:
*Effectively and proactively managing a complex caseload whilst seeking creative solutions to achieve positive outcomes
*Contributing to shaping sustainable communities and developing an environment that is safe and inclusive for our customers
*Fulfilling our landlord responsibilities, including adherence to our policies and procedures, as well as all regulatory and legislative requirements
*Taking a pro-active approach to health & safety and compliance
*Providing an excellent customer experience which contributes to us achieving 90% customer satisfaction
*Working in collaboration with colleagues from across the locality to conduct a programme of routine checks and deliver improvements to our homes and places
*Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and partner agencies
We’re looking for candidates with:
*Excellent customer service and people skills
*Experience of prioritising and organising a wide-ranging workload
*Experience of using computer systems
*Previous experience of delivering housing management services
*The ability to establish, develop and maintain effective working relationships with all work colleagues, contractors and partnering agencies
