Job Title: German Speaking Customer Service Team Leader
Location: Leicestershire (commutable from surrounding areas)
Salary: £38,000 - £43,000 per annum
About the Company
We’re working with a well-known international retail brand recognised for its high-quality products and exceptional multilingual customer service. They’re now looking for an experienced German Speaking Customer Service Team Leader to manage and develop a small European support team, ensuring outstanding service across all markets.
The Role
As the German Speaking Customer Service Team Leader, you will oversee a small team of German and French-speaking advisors. You’ll provide guidance, coaching, and support to ensure a consistently high standard of customer service while driving performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
*Lead and support a small team of German and French-speaking advisors
*Handle complex or escalated customer queries via email, phone, chat, and social media
*Coach team members and assist with onboarding and training
*Ensure all customer interactions are resolved efficiently and professionally
*Collaborate with departments such as logistics, e-commerce, and marketing
*Identify opportunities for process improvement and share best practices
The Candidate
*Fluent in German (French advantageous) and English, both spoken and written
*Minimum 2 years’ experience in customer service
*Experience handling escalated or complex queries
*Strong communication, problem-solving, and team-support skills
*Able to work independently and as part of a team
