Job Description:
Design & Technology Teacher - Hillingdon (ASAP Start)
A large and well-regarded secondary school in Hillingdon is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Design & Technology Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. The role is available to start ASAP and will continue until further notice. This is a full-time position, although the school may consider part-time applicants for the right candidate. Working hours are from 8:30am to 3:30pm. Salary will be paid in line with Outer London MPS/UPS.
Design & Technology Teacher - Hillingdon, London
* Deliver engaging and practical DT lessons across KS3 and KS4, ensuring students develop strong technical knowledge and hands-on skills.
* Teach across a range of specialisms (e.g. Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics or Engineering), depending on experience.
* Plan and prepare creative lessons that encourage innovation, problem-solving, and independent thinking.
* Support students in designing, developing, and evaluating their work to a high standard.
* Maintain a safe and well-organised workshop/classroom environment in line with health and safety regulations.
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to drive improvement.
* Contribute positively to the wider technology department and school community.

* Enthusiastic, adaptable, and committed to student achievement
