Job Description:
We are currently looking for an experienced Facilities Assistant to join one of our London’s biggest Universities!
Role: Facilities Assistant
Company: University in London (Central West London Postcode)
Contract type: Temporary to permanent position – an initial 2-month temporary assignment with the intention to transition into a permanent role
Pay Rate: £15.80 - £18.50 per hour (Weekly pay)
Working pattern: Monday to Friday - 7am to 3pm or 11am to 7pm
Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and approachable individual with excellent communication skills and a friendly, helpful manner. You will bring a flexible, well-organised approach to support the smooth running of a busy environment, so strong prioritisation skills are essential. A good understanding of health and safety requirements and basic computer literacy are also required.
This is a hands-on role involving regular physical activity, including lifting and moving furniture, as well as supporting the Goods In team with receiving deliveries. Knowledge of manual handling guidelines is highly desirable.
