Job Description:
Business Administrator – Fixed Term Contract (with Permanent Opportunity)
Location: Lenham, Maidstone
Office-based only
Reed Business Support are recruiting for a committed and highly organised Business Administrator to join a small, friendly office based in Lenham, Maidstone. Due to the rural location, candidates must be able to drive.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for stability, a supportive working environment, and a role with the potential to become permanent. You must be comfortable working in a home-based office with pets present (dogs and cats).
Key Responsibilities
• Accurate data entry
• Answering incoming calls and providing excellent customer service
• Processing sales orders
• Packing daily orders and preparing outgoing post
• Opening and processing incoming mail
• Basic email inbox management
• General administrative and office support
What We’re Looking For
• Strong typing and keyboard accuracy
• Previous office experience
• A consistent, stable work history
• Reliability and commitment, this role needs someone dependable
• Suitable for candidates returning to work after childcare
• Comfortable working in a home-based office where pets are present
• Must live in the UK and have the right to work in the UK
Pay & Terms • £12.21–£14 per hour
• Fixed Term Contract with the intention to move permanent
• Immediate start available (subject to checks)
• Free onsite parking
