Our client is a welcoming, child-centred early years setting based in Boston, Lincolnshire. They are committed to delivering exceptional childcare and early education in line with the Statutory Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Development Matters and Birth to Five Matters.
The Role
They are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Deputy Nursery Manager to support the Nursery Manager in the day-to-day running of a busy nursery setting. This is an exciting opportunity for an existing Deputy Nursery Manager or an experienced Room Leader ready to take the next step in their early years career.
Key Responsibilities:
*Supporting the nursery manager in the operation of the nursery
*Ensuring that safeguarding procedures are adhered to
*Showing around prospective parents
*Managing the nursery in the nursery manager’s absence
*Ensuring that the nursery environment is always kept to a high standard
*Support staff with planning and creating an enriching environment
*Use of management nursery software
Essential previous experience
*Minimum of 2 years of nursery leadership, either as a room leader or deputy
*Have a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in early years education and childcare
*Have maths and English GCSEs
