We are seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join our friendly Conveyancing and Probate teams. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a busy department, covering all aspects of Residential Conveyancing and Private Client work including Wills, Taxation, Probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Court of Protection matters.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Assist in managing a diverse workload in both Conveyancing and Private Client sectors.
*Handle administrative duties such as typing, filing, and managing correspondence.
*Use various software including Office 365, case management systems, and hosted telephony services.
*Maintain high standards of client care and service.
*Prioritise tasks and manage deadlines effectively.
*Ensure compliance with legal standards and protocols.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a similar Legal Assistant role.
*Proficient IT skills, with experience in Office 365 and case management systems desirable.
*Strong typing skills and attention to detail.
*Ability to prioritise workload and meet strict deadlines.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*Commitment to maintaining high standards of client care.
