Job Description:
Tradewind Recruitment is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team, supporting children across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 in a number of welcoming and inclusive primary schools in South Liverpool.
This rewarding role involves providing 1:1 support or working with small groups of pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them to thrive both academically and emotionally in a nurturing school environment.
The RoleAs an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
*Provide tailored support to children with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges.
*Adapt learning activities and resources to meet individual learning styles.
*Work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to deliver personalised support plans.
*Encourage social interaction, build confidence, and promote positive behaviour.
About YouWe are looking for someone who has:
*A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or above).
*Previous experience supporting children with SEN, ideally in a primary school setting.
*A solid understanding of how to support the learning and development of primary-aged children.
*Strong communication skills, patience, and a compassionate approach.

*Proof of Right to Work in the UK
*An Enhanced DBS (or be willing to apply for one)
*Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable)
