URGENT – Class 2 (Cat C) HGV Driver Required – Leicester
Immediate Start – Monday 5:00 AM
Pertemps are urgently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 (Cat C) HGV Driver for a Monday start based in Leicester. This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing work with the potential to become temp-to-perm after a successful 4-week trial period.
Schedule
*Monday to Thursday – Stay-outs required
*Return Friday afternoon
*Early starts (5:00 AM)
*Paid while on stay-outs
*Parking allowance provided
*£25 food allowance if parking does not provide meals
The Role
*Driving an 18t curtain-sided vehicle
*Multi-drop deliveries
*Signing and completing paperwork
*Using CX app for deliveries
*Operating a pump truck when required
*Close and go deliveries
*No handballing required (only in worst-case scenarios)
*Vehicle checks and compliance with Drivers’ Hours & WTD regulations
Requirements
*Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence
*Minimum 1 year Class 2 driving experience
*Maximum 3 points on licence
*Valid CPC & Digi Tacho
*DVLA check required
*Safety boots
*Good understanding of Drivers’ Hours regulations
*Reliable and professional attitude
