Job Description:
SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: DN7
Pay: £90–£95 per day
Contract: Full-time, April 2026 to July 2026, with potential to extend into the 2026/2027 academic year.
Reed Education are proud to be supporting an inclusive and forward-thinking primary school in Doncaster. They are looking for a nurturing and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work closely with some of their most vulnerable learners.
This role involves supporting a range of students with additional needs, ensuring they receive a high level of academic, social, and emotional support so they can thrive both in and out of the classroom.
Who you need to be:
*Someone with strong working knowledge of supporting learners with ASD and ADHD.
*Someone confident in delivering strategies and interventions that promote regulation, focus, and engagement.
*Someone who understands EHCPs and IEPs and can help pupils work towards their individual learning goals.
*Someone patient, resilient, empathetic, and nurturing—able to become a safe and trusted adult for these children.
What you need to have:
*Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable).
*Proven experience supporting children with additional needs in a school environment.
*A genuine commitment to achieving the best outcomes for every student you work with.
