Event Director – B2B Large Scale Events
Central London – Hybrid – Travel
Salary up to £85,000 + Bonus + Benefits Package
Experience required: Extensive B2B events experience, which includes leading large-scale conference programmes and people management.


My client produces internationally recognised and respected large-scale B2B conferences. Thousands of senior decision-makers. Events that run across the world. A reputation built over years of delivering event programmes that attract the right people and give sponsors genuine, measurable returns.
They’re looking for an Event Director to take ownership and grow significant events.
About the role
The Event Director who secures this role will be equally comfortable in a strategy session and a production meeting. You’ll bring a sharp commercial mind, strong leadership instincts, and the kind of product thinking that keeps events relevant, competitive, and growing.
You’ll be the driving force behind:

*A cohesive vision that every function, sales, content, marketing, and operations can collaborate on.

What we are looking for
*Significant years of experience in B2B events.
*Experience managing a production team.
*Direct experience producing large-scale events that attract thousands of attendees - and you understand what that demands.
*You have a genuine interest in (ideally direct experience of) AI, telecoms, data centre, infrastructure, or wider technology sector.
*Commercially, you’re comfortable with P&L accountability, KPI tracking, and budget management.
*Creatively, you bring fresh thinking to event formats and programme design.
*As a leader, you motivate through clarity, trust, and high expectations rather than pressure.
*You’re entrepreneurial enough to spot an opportunity and experienced enough to know how to land it.
