Job Description:
Axon Moore are recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing business based in Oldham to appoint a part-qualified Finance Analyst. The company has grown organically and through acquisition, so this is a new role to support the FP&A team, ensuring they’re effective in giving strong business insights to identify opportunities for growth.

This role sits within their Group function and will report to the FP&A Manager. This role will have links to the Group FD and other department leads to deliver comprehensive analysis, reporting and financial insight across the business.

Salary and benefits:

Salary - £30,000 - £38,000 DOE. Hybrid working 2-3 days from home, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension, life assurance, Medicash, study support is available and free parking.

Responsibilities include:
*Building strong working relationships with Group Finance Team and other divisional finance teams.
*Provide support to business departments by gaining an expertise in the financial consolidation and reporting system.
*Supporting with Budget and Forecast consolidation.
*Collate and prepare analysis on financial data for all divisions within the Group.
*Take ownership of the reporting & planning packs for the Group Exec Team and any relevant external stakeholders.
*Managing the process to minimise reporting errors, identifying opportunities to improve processes.
*Working with the Group FP&A Manager to improve processes and apply best practice across the function.
*Ad hoc duties as required by the business
Experience & Skill Requirements:
*2-3 years’ experience in an Analytical role.
*Actively studying ACCA/CIMA.
*Excel proficiency to include functions such as LOOKUPs, pivot tables and Sumif.
*Use of Power BI/SQL would be beneficial.
*Keen to learn and take ownership of relevant reporting and analysis.
*Excellent analytical skills, and the ability to challenge when required
*Strong communication skills, confident and articulate.
*Organised with a capacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
*A proactive, flexible, self-motivated, and adaptable approach to work, capable of managing multiple priorities autonomously and always showing initiative.
