DATA ENGINEER
UP TO £55,000 + BENEFITS
Remote (UK based)
This is a great opportunity to join a high-growth data and machine learning consultancy where you can take ownership of automation, integrations, and ETL pipelines.
THE COMPANY:
They are a fast-scaling organisation specialising in alternative data and machine learning solutions for investors and commercial teams. Their platform delivers data-driven insights across a range of industries, supported by a strong engineering culture. With continued growth and recent investment, they are expanding their core engineering team to further improve internal data workflows and automation.
THE ROLE:
You will take ownership of ETL and automation activities that enable efficient, high-quality data science delivery. Key responsibilities include:
*Building and maintaining custom ETL pipelines that support internal data workflows.
*Creating and improving automation processes that connect tools, systems, and reporting.
*Integrating internal and external APIs to streamline workflows.
*Orchestrating pipelines using Airflow or AWS Step Functions.
*Deploying containerised workloads into AWS.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
You will bring strong capability in:
*Python, including Pandas and standard data libraries.
*ETL pipeline development and data workflow automation.
*AWS as a core operating environment.
*Containerisation using Docker.
*Workflow orchestration tooling such as Airflow or Step Functions.
*Integrating with external APIs and internal tools.
THE BENEFITS:
You will receive a salary of up to £55,000 depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
