Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Accounts Receivable Assistant to join a busy finance team in Corby on a temporary ongoing basis, with the opportunity for the role to become permanent.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional to support core accounts receivable and treasury activities, playing a key role in ensuring strong financial controls and smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities:
*Enter and maintain accurate customer orders, ensuring the order backlog is up to date
*Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable process to ensure timely and accurate invoicing and collections
*Process customer invoices in line with contractual terms
*Monitor outstanding receivables and proactively follow up on overdue accounts
*Maintain accurate customer account records and resolve discrepancies promptly
*Maintain the daily cashbook and support regular cash flow monitoring and reporting
*Prepare and process bank reconciliations, ensuring timely resolution of variances
*Support foreign exchange reporting and payment processing where required
*Ensure adherence to financial policies and internal controls
*Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits
*Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to efficiency initiatives
Person Specification:
*Previous experience in accounts receivable and/or treasury operations
*Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
*Experience using accounting systems (SAGE 200 advantageous)
*Good communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships
*Proactive approach to managing workload and meeting deadlines
*Basic understanding of cash flow and treasury principles
*Able to work independently and collaboratively within a finance team
