Design & Technology (DT) Teacher
Location: Cambridge Area
Start Date:After Easter 2026
Pay:£150–£250 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Long-term with strong potential to go permanent in September 2026
REED Education are proud to be supporting an Ofsted-rated "Good" secondary school in the Cambridge area who are seeking a committed DT Teacher to join their team after Easter. This role runs through to the end of the academic year with a genuine opportunity to secure a permanent position from September.
About the Role
*Teaching Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4
*Specialisms welcomed (e.g. Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics, Engineering, Food Tech)
*Full-time, long-term position
*Supportive and well-equipped DT department
What We’re Looking For
*QTS or unqualified teachers with strong DT subject knowledge
*Confidence in delivering safe and engaging practical lessons
*Strong classroom management skills
*Passion for creativity, problem-solving, and hands-on learning
