Behaviour Mentor - Full-Time (5 Days per Week)

Are you an experienced and passionate Behaviour Mentor looking for a full-time opportunity in a supportive and welcoming secondary school environment?
We are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to work five days per week across secondary schools in Lewisham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident professional who has strong behaviour management skills, a solid understanding of adolescent development, and the ability to build positive, impactful relationships with young people.
The RoleAs a Behaviour Mentor, you will:
*Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with behavioural, emotional, or social needs
*Implement behaviour support strategies and personalised intervention plans
*Work closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and pastoral teams
*Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and academic progress
*Act as a consistent, reliable role model within the school community
The Ideal Candidate*Has previous experience working as a Behaviour Mentor or in a similar pastoral/support role within a secondary school
*Demonstrates strong knowledge of behaviour management strategies and safeguarding practices
*Holds a degree (preferred) in Psychology, Education, Youth Work, or a related field
*Is resilient, empathetic, and confident in managing challenging behaviour
*Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills
