Financial Planning Administrator
Glasgow City Centre
£30,000 + benefits
Join a well-established financial planning firm offering a supportive, professional environment where you can build your technical knowledge and progress your career.
This is an office-based role in Glasgow city centre with flexible working hours and an early finish every Friday, making it ideal if you want a healthy work-life balance while developing within the industry.
You’ll work closely with advisers and paraplanners, supporting the full financial planning process and gaining hands-on exposure to pensions, investments and protection.
The firm actively supports professional development, including study support for industry qualifications and the opportunity to progress into paraplanning or advisory roles in the future.
What you’ll do
You’ll support the advice team by managing a broad mix of client and business administration, including:
*Preparing client documentation and maintaining accurate records
*Processing new business, fund switches, withdrawals and other client instructions
*Liaising with providers to obtain valuations, policy information and resolve queries
*Supporting advisers and paraplanners with administrative tasks linked to the advice process
*Assisting with client onboarding including compliance checks and welcome packs
*Managing client communications and responding to queries promptly and professionally
*Ensuring all interactions are recorded clearly and compliantly
What you’ll need
*Experience in financial planning, wealth management or a similar financial services role
*A good understanding of pensions, investments and protection products
*Strong communication skills and attention to detail
*Confidence using Microsoft Office and CRM or platform systems
*A proactive approach and the ability to manage a varied workload
