Overview:We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Customer Service Administrator for a growing international business with a fantastic team culture. This role involves providing customer service and support via telephone, email, and written communication for both UK and international customers. The position will be responsible for handling product information, pricing, delivery details, and ensuring smooth order processing. There will be a significant amount of data handling, so good numerical skills are essential. The role involves working as part of a team of four as part of a wider business
Key Responsibilities:Handle all incoming and outgoing customer enquiries for both UK and international customers via phone and email.
Ensure efficient service and timely delivery by maintaining processes and providing regular updates to customers.
Assist in the completion of export invoicing tasks.
Address and resolve customer complaints, supporting the returns process when necessary.
Provide customers with up-to-date product details, pricing, delivery, and warranty information.
Process verbal and written orders promptly and accurately.
Communicate with other departments involved in order processing.
Ensure that orders are dispatched in line with customer requirements.
Scan and organise necessary documents for record-keeping.
Raise credit memos when needed.
Offer in-house support to the sales team as required.
Attend relevant internal or external training events to enhance knowledge and support company goals.
Role Requirements:*Minor supervisory responsibilities, working closely with a team of two established and hardworking colleagues. The ability to work independently with existing guidelines and practices.
*Solve problems by applying knowledge and using established precedents.
Experience:Experience as an Accounts Assistant or bookkeeper with strong numerical skills and attention to detail could be advantageous
Experience in a customer service environment. Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications - ideally with intermediate Excel capability - and able to pick up systems quickly.
Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced environment.
Strong administrative skills, with an ability to work accurately and efficiently.
Ability to absorb and apply product knowledge quickly.

Strong commercial and financial awareness.
Excellent communication and customer focus.
Ability to make decisions and take initiative.
